Lori Cleary’s Open House
On Friday, 30 March 2012, I will be at the Open House hosted by Lori Cleary in Pentz, Nova Scotia.
Lori is the Eastern Canada representative for a number of yarn companies. And, I am happy to say, a faithful suppoprter of my knitting designs, too. She has invited me to come along with some of my original samples as well as my patterns and a selection of yarn kits as well.
Susan Hannah will be there to represent Lucy Neatby and Tradewind Knitwear Designs. She will have Lucy's excellent DVD's, patterns, books, and yarns with her.
Janet Dawson of the Bobbin Tree will also be there with her weaving and spinning tools as well as a supply of coned yarns from Brown Sheep Company.
Lori's Open House is also a pre-retreat event for the the Maritime Fibre Arts Retreat which is being held next week-end, 30 March to 01 April, at the Oak Island Atlantica Hotel and Marina. Yes, that Oak Island! The one with the yet-to-be-discovered pirates' treasure!
Participants at the retreat are invited to come along to Lori's before the retreat. Everyone else is invited, too.
The Open House is from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Friday, 30 March. Pentz is driving distance away from Oak Island. Here is the address:
