Home from the Fair

Now home from the Kitchener-Waterloo Knitters' Fair, I can hardly believe that it was almost a week ago.
A one-day knitters' extravaganza, the Fair had 73 vendors in two great halls. Over 1600 knitters converged on us and it was a hectic day for everyone. With more to feast your eye on than you can imagine. My booth had its own share of colour when all the yarns were on display.

There were classes and workshops and a fashion show where Musetta had her chance to strut the stage.
We were busy all day and it was wonderful to meet so many of the knitters--and to find that many of them knew my patterns, had already knit some of them or were planning to do so.
Through it all, I had the help of the lovely Holly Neatby, caught here in a quiet moment and wearing the red version of the Diamonds on the Diagonal scarf. Holly is an engineering student at the University of Waterloo and talented knitter. She knit the original Arabella shawl.

Thanks for all your help, Holly. I couldn't have done it without you!
