Back from TNNA

Although I have been back home for some days, I am still decompressing from the TNNA Show this month in Columbus, Ohio.
It was a wonderful experience--meeting lots of people, comparing notes with other designers, talking with yarn shop owners about trends, and delighting in all the new offerings for Fall 2011.
But it was also a lot of hard work. It all started on Friday, 10 June, when we had to set up our booth.

Then on Saturday and Sunday, as well as Monday until early afternoon, we were busy hosting people in the booth and answering questions, taking orders. We were on our feet and busy the whole time.

Our booth showed all the Fleece Artist and Handmaiden yarns in their undyed state along the wall and then in their various hand-dyed colours in the tables in the foreground. Perl Grey was there, too, with her beautiful pewter jewellery and her knitwear designs.
By the time the week-end was over, we were tired, but happy. Here is our team (from left to right), Adrienne from Perl Grey , Kathryn from Fleece Artist /Handmaiden , Daniel from Swiss Mountain Silk (supplier of the sillk-based yarns in the collection) and myself.

Now that I am back, though, I am hard at work catching up on things.
