Boreale by St-Denis Yarn

Now that I have finshed all the pieces for the Five Easy Pieces Club, I have been indulging myself with St-Denis' yarn Boreale.

"Boreale" is the finer version of their worsted weight yarn, Nordique.

And it has all the same desirable qualities: 100% wool, exquisite stitch definition, beautiful colours that work well together for Fair Isle and intarsia knitting, the feel of classic wool between the fingers.

I used "Nordique" for Sahara and it has become my go-to shawl, ready to pull on over just about any outfit and go.

Now I am playing with Boreale.

I am in love with the "Blue Eggshell" colour and have been working up a wintry piece in a moving stitch pattern.

I am nearing the end and already want to start another project with this wonderful yarn. So satisfying to knit.
