Explosion of Yellow
It has been constantly raining here this past week. Yet it seems to have brought forth an explosion of yellow.
The daffodils are out in full force, in all their graceful varieties of yellow.
And the forsythia is spilling out everywhere, creating its own version of sunshine.
Yellow is not a colour I often turn to when it comes to designing. This is mainly because yellow is not a colour I personally wear often. After being exposed to such beautiful examples of it in the plant world, though, I am beginning to think that this is a mistake. It is a colour with many different moods, many qualities.
Best of all, it has the ability to bring about a sense of joyfulness, of peace.
