Firelight

The fourth pattern in the Five Easy Pieces Club is now available: Firelight.
This semi-circular shawl plays with the colours of firelight and reminds me of a campfire in the woods.
It is worked from the top down. At graduated intervals the stitch count is doubled to create the semi-circular shape.

At the same time, regular increases at the sides add more dimension, so that this shawl willl sit well on the shoulders.

The shawlette version uses just one skein of Noro Kureyon Sock Yarn, while the full-size, large shawl uses Kauni Effektgarn.
The Kauni shawl is large enough to double as a jacket--with its voluminous coverage and warmth.

Because this pattern is worked from the top down, you can easily adjust it to whichever length you like.
