Life in Unexpected Places
I am always amazed when I see life in unexpected places.
These rocks jut out into the North Atlantic. There is no soil on them. They are constantly pummelled by icy, salt water. The wind is never-ending and, except for periods of calm in summer, brutal.
And yet these trees manage to survive and even grow to a reasonable size.
It makes one think and wonder....
