Most Popular Pattern in 2010

The most popular pattern in 2010, without a doubt, was Bermuda from the International Year of the Scarf Collection.
Many have been intrigued by the short-row construction of this piece and how the colours move across the surface of the fabric. It is particularly effective when worked in a yarn with long colour repeats, like Kauni Effektgarn. The Kauni version is shown here:

Not too far behind is Among the Birches from the Far North Collection. This multi-directional ruana also doubles as a vest pattern and again makes the most of a self-striping yarn. In this case, Noro Silk Garden.

In third place for 2010 is one of the perennial favourites, In the Garden from the City Collection.
