My Own Poll Results
On the eve of the Canadian federal election and in the middle of the US Presidential campaign, I thought it was about time to post my own poll results. I keep statistics of my pattern sales and have recently updated them.The winner for 2008 to date, by a clear majority, continues to be Antique Lace .
In second place is Sea Urchin , followed closely behind by Tidal Streams in third place. Both of these are new designs for 2008.
However, when taking total numbers into account over the life of my website, the second and third places are occupied by Lady of the Forest and Queen of the Waves respectively.
I also wanted to see where most of my pattern sales were coming from so far this year. In the US, first place is occupied by California, with New York in second place and Pennsylvia in third. In Canada, British Columbia came first, followed by Nova Scotia and Ontario.
International sales were topped in the United Kingdom, followed by France and Germany tied for second place and Italy in third place.
As for yarn sales, the most popular yarn colours in 2008 have been Woolie Silk "Salt Spray" in the number one spot and "Bronze" number two. Third was Celestial Merino "Sugar Maple" .
It'll be interesting to see how these compare with the year-end stats...
