New Kauni Colours

I have recently added some new colours to my offering of Kauni Effektgarn, that intriguing 100% wool yarn from Estonia that has those extra-long colour repeats.

Above is the Kauni colour EP, which I have named "Caramel Crunch". A delicious colourway that goes from the lightest gold to the deepest, darkest, warmest brown--while crossing through orange and rust along the way.

Next is the Kauni colourway EY, "Merlot" in my own parlance. Intoxicating wines and burgundies, finishing with a muted rose.

Because I find the Kauni colour codes difficult to sort out and remember, I have given them my own names. I must have been hungry when I named this batch, since all the names relate to food.

Below is Kauni EC, "Salt and Pepper". Black and white, interspersed with tones of grey. Sultry and dramatic all on its own. But I can also see this colour being paired with many other Kauni colourways, offering contrast and flavour to the mix.

All of these colourways will work well with any of the designs in the Kauni Collection.

Or perhaps you have some ideas of your own? I am looking forward to experimenting with these news colours soon.
