Royal Knitting
What will you be knitting during the Royal wedding?
I am working on a sample with a brand new yarn from Handmaiden Fine Yarn, a royal sampling called "Swiss Silk". It is not even up on their website yet. It is a 100% silk yarn with a tight twist and a delicate feel. Luscious to work with with.
And these colours are definitely royal: turquoise and a deep garnet red.
I haven't decided whether I'll actually get up at 3:00 AM when the proceedings start at local time. But I'm sure to watch when I do get up. Whether I also pick up the knitting needles will depend on the level of excitement at the time.
