Pamina

Pamina Pamina

Image
Rusalka

Named for the captured princess, Pamina, in Mozart’s fairy-tale opera The Magic Flute, this feminine shell with its lacy loveliness evokes a fairy-tale time and place.

Worked in variations of the Feather and Fan Stitch, the piece ripples and moves with the colour variations in the yarn. A decorative insert at the Neck as well as the addition of optional Hip Gussets provide added flair and style.

Use your choice of yarn, whether dark and sultry or light and capricious, to express the version of Pamina that best describes you!

The sample pictured is size Medium and is knit with Handmaiden Fine Yarn Sea Wool, 70% merino, 30% seacell, (350 m./383 yds. per 112 g. skein), colour “Orchid”.
