I had wanted a project that was not complicated and allowed for relaxing knitting, but still had that special je-ne-sais-quoi to pull it out of the ordinary.
I introduced a couple of elements to surprise and intrigue. The lace stitch pattern changes seamlessly half-way through, making the back and front different from each other.
The ruffle, made double, is added to join the wrap. With the addition of an I-cord , threaded through the top edging and down the centre of the double ruffle, the side can be pulled up into a seductive gather.
Heads-up about the yarn kits for this pattern: Handmaiden Silk Twist is being discontinued! I have yarn still available for this project. But once my stock is gone, it is gone.
Order your kit now to avoid being disappointed.
