India Scarf

SaharaThe Sahara, known as the “Greatest Desert”, is the world’s largest non-arctic desert, covering most of Northern Africa. Characterized by its huge sand dunes, it can be mistaken for a place with no life.

Yet there are varieties of plants and animals which manage to survive in this unrelentingly harsh environment. The sand dunes themselves shift and move with the winds. The undulating stitch pattern of the Sahara scarf/shawl evokes those magnificent sand dunes, reminding us of their mystery and stark beauty. Pattern instructions include three versions: a scarf, medium shawl and large shawl (as pictured above).
