A lacy capelet, reflecting the colours of early morning, makes for a light and versatile cover-up, suitable for any time of the day. Work it in dreamy pastels or sultry dark tones for the look that speaks to you.
The lower part of the capelet is worked flat until it is joined into a round at the Shoulder Section. This creates a vent to allow for easy arm movement. Here you have the option to leave it as is or add a few buttons or a pin.
The Seed Stitch Bands serve as a decorative element to the capelet as well as defining and stabilizing the edges of the vent.
