There are many pathways through the forest, each with its own secrets and delights.
Join me to work a generous shawl as we wander down some interesting trails. Choose a handpainted or self-striping fingering weight yarn in the colours of nature to get started.
What you will need to begin:
- Fingering weight yarn in two handpainted colourways (500 m./546 yds. for the Main Colour and 325./355 yds. for the Second Colour)—I recommend that you chose colourways that are related rather than highly contrasting.
- 4.5 mm. (US 7) needles
- Stitch markers
- Tapestry needle
- Blocking wires (highly recommended) and pins
The original is knit with Hand Maiden Fine Yarn Casbah, 80% superwash merino, 10% nylon, 10% cashmere, (325 m./355 yds. per 115 g. skein).
Choose your own yarn kit in Hand Maiden Fine Yarn Casbah and it should arrive in time for the knit-along: Forest Pathways Yarn Kits
